Being seen is a resource

A globe on the shelf. A floor lamp in the corner. A waste bin nobody remembers putting there. One of them is you – and the longer the hunter stares, the more dangerous your team gets.

01 · HOW IT WORKS

Hide. Panic quietly. Flip the table... as the table.

NERVOUSNESS

Stay calm. You’re a vase.

Every second a hunter holds you in view, your Nervousness climbs. Faster the closer they are, faster the more directly they stare. Hit 100 and you’re torn out of your disguise, left with nothing but your legs and a very obvious robot body.

The twist: all that panic isn’t wasted. Every living prop’s nervousness pools into one shared team charge. Staying hidden keeps you safe, staying watched makes your team dangerous.

THE REVOLT

The furniture fights back

When the charge is high enough, any prop can slam the Revolt trigger. For everyone, at once, for a short time. The rules invert:

TACKLECharge the hunter without ever dropping your disguise.
MELEEOnce you’re revealed there’s no more hiding, but you can fight.
TOGETHEREveryone’s nervousness paid into that charge. It runs out for all of you at the same moment.

Props don’t have to win the fight. They win by having anyone left standing when the clock stops, but a hunter who knows the Revolt is coming searches rooms very differently.

SHAPESHIFTING

You are what you hide as

Objects carry their own stats – picking one is picking a build. A tiny vase is fast and vanishes into a cluttered shelf, but can’t tackle anything. A fridge has huge HP, deals real Revolt damage, and is seen by absolutely everyone. Because it’s a fridge.

Swap disguises whenever you like – even mid-round. Dropping down to a vase to survive the next sweep is a completely legitimate way to play. Getting caught mid-swap is a completely legitimate way to get shot.
